I love it, awesome, that my best friend bobby buffaloe making the steal, when we were watching the game we noticed bobby was having a bad game but the steal made up for it all in the end…and what can you say about anthony…nasty.
I remember watching this with some fam in the living room. Barton is like 15 min from where we live. We were running around the living room like, “What!” Yes, this was a DII game, but one of the most exciting finishes to a game EVER! Please find me a more exciting 0.00 finish to a game like this one?! Sorry, I don’t think you can!
I remember waking up late and going downstairs to the living room to find my sister watching this game with 10 minutes left. We decided not to change it and we watched the rest of the game live. I remember saying after Atkinson misses the free throw “He’ll never live that free throw down the rest of his life”. Then the rest happened. haha Absolutely incredible! I still get excited watching the finish.
This is amazing i went to school with atkinson and i remember him playing for greenfield with coach salter who is still there. Now he plays for the globe trotters.
Anthony Atkinson went to grennfield school in wilson north carolina, i actually went to school with anthony atkinson, i was in the 3rd grade when anthony graduated at the k-12 school
Great comeback. But I have to say Malvik gave up on those last two plays. When Atkinson drove for the tie he saw him and just watched him go to the rack. Then when they strippede him, he could have ran down and fouled or something, he just quit. They didn’t deserve it if they give up like that.

6This was one special game. I didn’t see it on TV, but CBS did mention it when I saw my Bruins play later that day. I only saw that final play.

12How many people though the game was over when Atkinson missed the shot?
Ian Eagle’s commentary was great here.
